the gnawing shame that your children see you as a broken burden rather than a parent who is just tired

Found in the Light, Not a Burden

In the middle of the day, the light of the sun is full, yet inside the house you feel like a burden your children must carry. There is a father who left the ninety-nine sheep just to find the one that wandered, not because that sheep was useful, but because it was beloved.

You are not a burden to the light; you are the one being sought. They see you tired, and they see a human, but the light inside you sees a child of the Most High who is simply resting under the weight of a long day.

The kingdom is not for the strong, but for the weary who stop performing and simply breathe. You are already found, and the silence between your breaths is where the light holds you both.
