For the person who cannot look at themselves. The mirror is an enemy. The weight or the skin or the scars or the shape. They dress in the dark. They avoid cameras. They have decided their body disqualifies them from being wanted or seen or beautiful. The shame is so deep it has become the lens through which they see everything.
